About

AetherCam is a video recording app that treats audio as a first-class citizen.

Built for content creators and musicians, AetherCam lets you shape your sound on the fly. Whether you’re filming an acoustic performance, a vocal take, or a quick social post, your audio becomes part of the performance itself.

AetherCam turns your iPhone’s microphone into a live audio workstation. Open the FX Rack and apply studio-quality effects in real time: add reverb to give your guitar space, dial in delay for depth, sculpt your tone with a 3-band EQ, or tighten things up with a compressor. Every adjustment happens instantly, so you can tweak your sound while the camera keeps rolling.

Need more level? Use the built-in preamp gain to boost your signal before it’s recorded—cleanly and with control.

And because great performances deserve a safety net, AetherCam records two audio tracks simultaneously:

1) a processed master track with effects that you applied during your performance

2) a raw, unprocessed backup track

In the built-in Studio editor, both tracks are displayed side by side. If you went a little heavy on the reverb or want to rethink your sound later, simply switch to the raw track and fine-tune your audio in post—no re-recording required.

AetherCam also gives you full insight into your audio in real time. Monitor levels, spot overloads instantly, see which frequencies are peaking, and track loudness targets like LUFS as you record.

Designed with creators in mind, AetherCam also lets you record video at 2× speed in real time. If you already know a section will be sped up in the final edit, record it that way from the start.

Throughout the entire process, AetherCam gives you full visibility into your audio. Monitor levels in real time, catch overloads before they ruin a take, see which frequencies are peaking, and track loudness targets like LUFS as you record. No surprises. No guesswork. Perfect audio.
