It is a local-first memory engine built specifically for AI agent workloads. No embeddings, no cloud, no server, no GPU. Everything runs in-process on your machine and survives restarts and power cuts via WAL recovery.
We told GPT-4 a name, some preferences, and project details. Restarted completely. Without Synrix it forgot everything instantly. With Synrix it remembered everything perfectly. Cold start. Under 1 millisecond.
Real numbers. Direct node lookup at 19 microseconds. Prefix queries across 10,000 nodes at 28 to 80 microseconds. Full context restored from cold start in under 1ms. Validated on Jetson Orin Nano at 192 nanoseconds hot reads.
Not a vector database replacement. For fuzzy search over unstructured documents use Chroma or Qdrant. Synrix is for structured agent memory where you know what you are looking for. User preferences, session context, learned facts, task state. Free tier covers 25,000 nodes.
