AppTela is a macOS app launcher that does things differently. App icons have depth and dimension. Build your layout using Screens, Categories, Groups and Stacks. Stacks let you visually pile apps on top of each other and expand them with a peel-away transition, or create Launch Stacks that open multiple apps at once.
The whole interface is dynamic: 29 colour themes and 26 display themes including 7 animated video backgrounds. Use your own wallpaper or MP4 video. Apply glass mode, set custom gradients, adjust icon sizes and colours. Shadow Time adds real-time directional shadows on icons that follow the clock, with raise and rotate effects.
Right-click any app, group, stack or category for quick actions. Search to filter apps and add new ones directly from results. The redesigned preferences panel slides in alongside your layout with live preview.
AppTela never modifies or removes any apps from your Mac. Zero data collection.
