Samla is a local-first iPhone app for anyone who collects physical things. Trading cards, sneakers, figures, plants, outfits, model cars – whatever it is, Samla turns it into a clean, personal digital collection. No cloud, no account, no online database. Everything stays on your device.
The idea is simple: photograph your actual items, add names, descriptions, tags and custom fields, and build a collection that's truly yours. You can organize items into decks or sets, scan text on cards and boxes with built-in OCR, and look things up instantly from within the app.
Every item gets a unique ID with a full history – when it was added, edited, and who it was sent to. Because Samla also supports local peer-to-peer sharing between iPhones, no internet required.
It's built for people who care about the physical object itself, not just its market value.
