Hisab is a free group expense tracker built for friends, roommates, and travel groups.
It started when a friend got pushed into paying for receipt scanning on Splitwise — a feature people use every week. Instead of working around it, I built a version that keeps all core features free.
Hisab focuses on speed and clarity:
add an expense quickly, split it across a group, and instantly see who owes whom.
It also handles real-world behavior better — partial payments, cash/UPI settlements, and messy group expenses don’t break the system.
