About
hora is a native macOS client for Google Calendar. Built with Swift and SwiftUI, not Electron or webviews.
If you work on a Mac but live in Google Calendar, the options aren't great. Apple Calendar is too limited. Fantastical is heavy and pricey. Notion Calendar is a web app wrapped in a window.
Hora talks to the Google Calendar API directly. No backend, no CalDAV layer, no servers in the middle. Your data stays between you and Google.
What's inside:
Menu bar widget with your next meeting and a one-click join button
Drag & drop event editing
Multiple Google accounts
Smart conference detection (Meet, Zoom, Teams)
Availability sharing with ⌘⇧A
Google-style keyboard shortcuts
Instant week/month switching
Built for people who find Apple Calendar too limited and everything else too much.
