CPU: Can run smaller models like TranslateGemma 4B (requiring 8GB+ RAM) on standard laptops.
GPU: Can scale to TranslateGemma 12B or 27B on workstations with NVIDIA graphics cards (16GB–32GB+ VRAM) for higher efficiency and technical complexity.
How it Works
The app uses a Docker-based architecture to run AI models locally. Users install the desktop app, which helps set up the Docker environment, download the preferred TranslateGemma models, and then manage translation tasks through a reviewable workflow.
Language & Format Support
It supports over 300 languages and 13 file formats, including plain text, markdown, and subtitle formats like .srt and .vtt.
