About
HankyDoodle is a draw-the-word, guess-the-word game for iPhone and iPad. You draw a prompt, someone guesses it, and you pass it back. Built by a solo dev who I wanted a fun way to draw with their kids.
What makes it different:
- A daily Word of the Day, where everyone draws the same prompt and you can see how everyone else drew it.
- Every drawing is saved stroke by stroke, not as a flat image, so it replays in real time like a video and you can export the replay to share.
- Play async with friends with no live-timer pressure, get matched with a random opponent, or just free-draw.
- Every brush and color is free for everyone. No coins, no unlocks. The optional subscription only removes the ads and adds a yearly superlike allowance.
