I'm Jaxen, a solo founder and process automation tech living in Saskatchewan. I built Budgeting Bite because I was tired of living paycheck to paycheck and feeling confused, guilty, and scared about my own money.
Budgeting Bite connects to your bank via Plaid and sends a push notification seconds after every transaction, telling you exactly how much you have left in that budget category.
Example: "You spent $4.50 at Tim Hortons. You have $37 left for Dining Out this week."
No other budgeting app does this. Most only send alerts for bills or low balances, not a real‑time remaining budget update after each purchase.
