About

Paste2SSH is a free macOS app for anyone running Claude Code or Codex on a remote server.

Your AI agent can read your whole repo but can't see your screen. Paste2SSH fixes that: take a screenshot on your Mac, hit ⌘V in your terminal, and it's already on the server with the remote path on your clipboard.

What makes it nice:

  • Menu-bar toggle — flip it on and off in a click when you switch between your local and remote terminal.

  • Uses your ~/.ssh/config — your host aliases are there instantly, and you can switch which server uploads go to in one click.

  • Recents — every path you've uploaded is saved, so you can re-copy an old one in a click.

  • Drag and drop any file onto the window, not just screenshots.

Free, ~650 KB, macOS 14+, Apple Silicon, notarized. No cloud, no account, no telemetry. The file goes straight from your Mac to your server.
