Klar is a spam filter for Apple Mail that runs entirely on your Mac.
Apple Mail's junk filter misses a lot, especially AI-written scams and phishing. Klar runs a real multilingual AI model (XLM-RoBERTa, 550M parameters) on device to catch what slips through. Every message is classified in 13 to 44 ms on Apple Silicon, across 100+ languages, and nothing is ever sent to a server: no account, no cloud, no telemetry. The part of Klar that reads your inbox has no network access at all, so by construction it cannot send your mail anywhere.
Correct it once and it learns, on the device. Three sensitivity profiles (Cautious, Standard, Aggressive) let you set the balance between catching spam and never losing real mail.
