About

Avycast puts the official avalanche bulletins of 30+ regional avalanche centers worldwide into one app, in one consistent format, in your language.
Every avalanche service publishes differently — its own layout, its own terminology, and almost always the local language only. Travel outside your home range and you spend the morning decoding an unfamiliar website in a language you don't read.

What Avycast does

  • One schema everywhere — danger by elevation band (above / near / below treeline), aspects, avalanche problems, and the forecaster's own discussion, always laid out the same way.

  • Faithful translation into 11 languages. The forecaster's wording is translated, never summarized or rewritten. No AI-generated forecasts.

  • Every bulletin links back to the original publication of the issuing avalanche center.
Offline slope evaluator — a reduction-method calculator that works with no signal: slope angle, aspect, and elevation against today's danger rating.

  • Favorites and fast region switching for the ranges you actually ski.

For backcountry skiers, splitboarders, ski tourers, alpinists, and guides who move between avalanche regions and across language borders. iOS, Android, and a free public website at avycast.app.
Free: full bulletins, one region change per day, offline slope evaluator.
Premium: unlimited region switching, favorites, and notifications — 7-day free trial, then monthly or yearly.
Avycast does not replace training or the official bulletin. It makes the official forecast readable, and always points back to the source.
