About
MC Pixel Art converts any image into a Minecraft build, entirely in your browser. Pick how wide the build should be in blocks and you get a block-by-block plan you can actually place in game — no signup, no upload, no ads.
The block palette is versioned from 1.13 through 26.2 and covers both Java and Bedrock, so the tool never tells you to place a block your version does not have. Color matching runs in the OKLab perceptual color space instead of naive RGB distance, which is why gradients, skies and skin tones come out looking chosen rather than random. Several dithering options, including Floyd-Steinberg, are there for smoother transitions.
Everything runs locally in a Web Worker: your image and settings never leave your device, and you can confirm that in the network tab. Exports include a PNG preview, a material list with exact block counts, a .schem file for WorldEdit and a .litematic file for Litematica. There is also a chunk-by-chunk build guide that splits a build into sections so you always know which block goes where and what is left, instead of squinting at a flat reference image next to the game.
