PostGate is a WordPress paywall plugin for creators, publishers, educators and independent experts who want to sell access to valuable content directly with Stripe.
You can protect an entire website, post types, categories, tags, individual posts and pages, or even a single Gutenberg block. Visitors can then unlock the content through a one-time payment or recurring subscription.

PostGate works directly with WordPress and does not require WooCommerce or a complicated membership platform.
The plugin is free to install. PostGate charges a 5% platform fee only when a transaction is successful, in addition to Stripe processing fees.
I built PostGate because many independent publishers want to monetize their expertise but find traditional membership and eCommerce setups unnecessarily complex. The goal is to provide a focused way to connect valuable WordPress content directly to Stripe.
