About

Formula Dream is a free Formula 1 companion app for iOS and Android. It exists for the part of a race weekend the broadcast skips.

FIA documents decide races. Stewards' decisions, penalties, protests, scrutineering reports. They are published during the weekend with no announcement and almost nobody sees them. Formula Dream collects every one as it drops, in a tab you can search and filter.

Free, no subscription, no ads. Independent and not affiliated with Formula 1 or the FIA.

Features:

FIA Docs. Every document published across the weekend, searchable and filterable, collected as it is released.

Live Dashboard. All twenty cars moving on the circuit map in real time, next to a full timing tower with positions, gaps and intervals, tyre compound and age, pit counts and positions gained. Air and track temperature, wind and rain chance. Flag and safety car alerts as they happen. Open any driver for their sector times and remaining tyre sets.

Live driver radio. Streams during the session with a transcript running beside the audio, so you can read what was said while it is being said.

Timeline. Replays the whole weekend in order, news, FIA documents, results and stats, in the sequence they happened.

Fast Fantasy. A different challenge every weekend rather than one season-long pool, in public leagues or private ones against friends.

Race Center. Driver and constructor standings, results, and the full calendar.

Use cases:

Following a session live without a second screen. The timing tower, the track map and the radio are in one place, so you are not switching between the broadcast and three tabs.

Catching up when the race happened while you were asleep. The Timeline replays the weekend in the order it happened, so you get the story rather than just the result.

Understanding why a result changed after the flag. Penalties and stewards' decisions arrive as FIA documents, and this is where you read the actual document instead of waiting for someone to summarise it.

Playing fantasy with friends rather than against the whole internet. Private leagues, a new challenge each weekend.
