Giflane turns a phone screen recording into a clip you can publish.
Most screen recording tools were built for a desktop and a mouse. Giflane starts from the thing people actually record on now: a phone. Upload up to five minutes of iPhone or Android capture, pick the exact seconds that matter on a trim strip, drop the recording into a device frame on a solid colour, a gradient, or a palette pulled from your own website, and export it for wherever it is going.
Pick a destination and the settings follow. A vertical 9:16 MP4 at 1080x1920 for YouTube Shorts, Reels and TikTok. A 16:9 clip for a landing page. A square clip for Slack. Or a lightweight GIF for a newsletter, a README or a documentation page. Giflane crops the phone status bar automatically, so the time and signal icons do not end up in your published clip.
Everything happens inside your browser. Reading, previewing and rendering all run locally, and your video is never uploaded to a media server. That matters if you are recording something you would rather not hand to a third party: a customer account, an internal tool, a story you are still working on.
All editing tools are free. The Creator plan removes the watermark for EUR 9 a month or EUR 59 once.
