About
Frankly
Frankly is an iPhone app of nine conversation card decks: 522 questions, one per screen, with a deeper follow-up behind any card you tap. Built by one person in Kyiv.
What is free
The 24-card Icebreakers deck outright, plus the first five cards of every other deck โ 64 of the 522 questions with no payment. The remaining decks are $1.99โ5.99 each, or one All-Access purchase.
What is unusual about it
- No account, no feed, no profile. It works offline.
- Anything you write stays on the device, encrypted with a 256-bit key held in the iOS Keychain.
- No AI in the product: nothing is generated at runtime and there are no model endpoints in it.
- Ten editions across nine languages, and it is the card text that is translated, not only the interface.
Things you should know before listing it
- iPhone only. It runs on iPad in compatibility mode; there is no Mac and no web version.
- Rated 17+ with a mature and suggestive themes advisory, and that rating covers the whole library, including the family deck.
- English is native. Spanish, French and Ukrainian had a full editorial pass but no native sign-off yet. German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese are machine translation awaiting review โ I would not call them professional.
- It is not server-free. The purchase SDK is contacted when the app launches and crash reporting is live. Cards and answers themselves never leave the device.
- The app contains no AI, but it was built with heavy AI assistance in the tooling. I would rather say that than have you find it out.
Released on the App Store on 22 August 2026.
