SnapShield AI is a Windows desktop app for annotating and redacting screenshots and images — entirely on-device, with nothing uploaded.
Most "redacted" screenshots aren't actually safe: a simple blur or pixelation filter doesn't destroy the underlying data, and blurred text can often be reconstructed. SnapShield AI works differently — it averages pixels into blocks before smoothing, so the information is genuinely gone, not just hidden.
Capture a window, region, or full scrolling page, or open any PNG/JPEG, then annotate, blur, pixelate, or redact. It also includes on-device AI auto-redact (face + text detection), batch export, and an object-removal tool.
