You post your project somewhere and never really find out whether it did
anything. That is the problem waveup.lol was built for.
It is one public board where you pay to place your link, and the amount you
pay is your position. Pay more than the listing above you and you take its
spot. Anyone can do the same to you an hour later.
What you get:
- You can see the clicks. The count sits on your listing, in public — the
same number you see is the number everyone else sees. A click counts once
per visitor per hour, so it cannot be inflated.
- You choose your position. No application, no approval queue, no algorithm
deciding you are not interesting enough. Whatever you pay is your rank.
- Nothing expires. One payment, nothing renews. If someone outbids you, you
move down the board — you are never removed from it.
- The price is public. You know what a position costs before you pay, and
what the listings above you paid for theirs.
Most ad placements are sold blind: you are not told what the position cost
anyone else, not told what set the order, and the performance figure comes
from the seller. Here all three are in the open.
The board is new, so the first listings are going on free — happy to add
yours.
