Timestamp makes a fifteen-second camcorder tape out of one photograph of you.
Upload a photo, choose a place, an outfit and a frame shape. What comes back is you standing in that place, on video, dated somewhere between 1999 and 2005 — with tape grain, chroma bleed, a head-switch tear across the bottom of the frame and a burnt-in date in the corner.
Two things make it different from a filter. The person in the tape is you, held across all fifteen seconds from a single reference photograph. And the tape look is not generated: it is built afterwards, frame by frame, in ffmpeg, modelling what a PAL camcorder actually did to an image. Models are good at making a plausible scene and bad at making a broken one, so the two halves are done in two different places.
