CameraCue is a translucent, click-through teleprompter for the Mac. It pins your script directly beneath the camera, so your eyeline stays on the lens instead of drifting to the middle of the screen - the difference between talking to your audience and reading at them.
It floats above QuickTime Player, Zoom, Loom, OBS or any other recorder, and stays click-through, so every mouse click lands in the app underneath. Six global hotkeys start, stop, advance and hide the overlay without leaving the app you are recording in. That part was the hard bit: a sandboxed Mac App Store app cannot grab keys the usual way, so all six run through RegisterEventHotKey.
CameraCue never touches the camera or the microphone, and asks for no permission to. No account, no analytics, no network calls of its own. Your script stays on your Mac.
