I built Movtool because the hardest part of making a song was often not generating the first track. It was everything that came after: turning an idea into lyrics, matching lyrics to audio, preparing an LRC file, creating a visual storyboard, and cleaning up the final audio. Each step usually lived in a different tool, which made a small creative project feel more like file management than music-making.
Movtool exists to keep these steps connected in one browser workspace. It is not meant to replace musicians or pretend that one click can create a finished record. Its purpose is to shorten the distance between a rough idea and something you can listen to, share, and continue editing.
I’m building it around a simple question: can creative software handle the tedious transitions without getting in the way of creative decisions?
