Echoly is a free app that helps language learners actually hold conversations instead of just memorizing vocab. After a months-long Duolingo streak that never taught me to talk to anyone, I built Echoly around AI-powered roleplay: learners practice real scenarios like ordering food, asking for directions, or a doctor's visit, with an AI that stays in character and gives a quick coaching tip when phrasing is off. Optional voice input lets learners practice real speaking, not just typing.
