Recognition stays on your Mac
Speech recognition runs on your Mac. Audio is not uploaded to a transcription service or saved as recordings. Completed transcripts stay in local history, where you can review, copy or delete them. Language is detected from each recording.
Requirements and pricing
Requires an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 13 or later, Microphone and Accessibility permissions, and an activated trial or subscription. Internet is needed for the initial speech-model downloads, activation and periodic license checks.
USD 6.90 per month or USD 69 per year. The first 14-day free trial requires a credit card. Downloading the app alone does not start the trial.
A separate local browser demo is available on the website. It uses a smaller model and does not preview the Mac app’s full recognition quality.
