It works around calls made through the native WordPress AI Client. The Free tier provides monthly request and token enforcement with estimated-cost monitoring. Pro adds seven earlier guardrails for token spikes, caller-specific budgets, repeated requests, per-request size, retry storms, model spend, and execution context.
It is designed for plugin teams, agencies, and site operators who want AI features to stay useful without allowing one broken loop, retry storm, or background job to consume the whole month's budget.
Raw prompts and AI responses are never persisted.
Current scope: native WordPress AI Client lifecycle. Direct provider SDK or HTTP calls are outside scope.
