Vicinity

After months of building and fighting Play Console, Vicinity is finally live

Vicinity is a ₹50 Android app that detects nearby compatible smart glasses and wearable recording devices.

The idea is intentionally simple:

Open → scan → get alerted.

No account.
No cloud.
No analytics.

I honestly didn't expect the Google Play publishing process to take as long as it did. I went through multiple testing rounds, production access and reviews.

There were definitely a few points where I thought about just giving up on the Android launch.

But it's finally live.

Now I want to see if anyone actually finds it useful.
