Altillo

Altillo gives your Mac's notch a temporary file shelf, Claude/Codex quota displays and coding-agent requests you can approve or deny yourself. It runs natively on macOS 26+, including a virtual island on displays without a notch. Free, MIT open source, signed and notarized. No Altillo backend or analytics; optional usage checks connect directly to their provider. Ask uses an on-device model, with external web lookups. Drawer hides icons on macOS 27; on macOS 26 it opens them without hiding the originals.
