DataTray is a free Windows app for the data files Excel can't handle. It lives in your system tray and bundles five utilities: Data Explorer for viewing, profiling, and running SQL against files of any size; Data Converter for moving between CSV, TSV, Excel, Parquet, JSON, JSONL, and XML; Dedupe & Merge with exact, normalized, and fuzzy matching; Clean & Anonymize for fixing formatting and masking personal data; and Compare Files for spotting schema changes and row-level differences.
There are no row limits and no cloud: every job runs locally on your machine using deterministic, explainable rules, no AI guesswork, and produces exportable reports showing exactly what changed. No account, no subscription, no ads; it stays free by sharing a slice of your PC's idle bandwidth through Massive, disclosed up front and controllable in Settings.
