YT Transcriber bulk-extracts the captions YouTube already has, from single videos, whole playlists or entire channels, and exports them as clean text files for reading, note-taking or AI tools. Paste up to 500 links per submit (or a playlist/channel URL with up to 5,000 videos) and a live queue fetches each video. Export TXT, Markdown with front matter, JSON with timestamps, compact TOON, SRT or PDF, one file or a ZIP for the whole batch. Pick the caption language (auto + 14 languages). AI users can connect Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT through an API key and the built-in MCP server. Captions only: no audio download, no speech-to-text, and videos without captions are reported as failed. Google sign-in; transcripts are encrypted at rest and deleted after 90 days. Free: 3 videos/day. Paid: $9/month or $22 per 3 months, same features, no per-video credits (fair use 1,000 videos/day).
