OpenWiki

OpenWiki is a free, open-source (MIT) Python command-line tool that turns YouTube videos, playlists, channels, blog articles and your own notes into a linked, Obsidian-compatible Markdown wiki. It downloads transcripts and articles with no API key, then an LLM (Gemini, OpenAI, OpenRouter or local Ollama / LM Studio) writes a cross-linked page for every source, person, company and topic. Quotes are checked against the transcript and link to the exact second. It also has offline full-text search and an ask command that answers from your own sources with citations.
