About
Diagrams that look like a sketch, not a spec
SimpleDiagrams is a native Mac app for making quick, hand-drawn-style diagrams. Drag shapes onto the page, connect them, add a few words, and you have something clear enough to explain an idea in a meeting, a doc or a pull request.
The hand-drawn look is deliberate. When a diagram looks finished, people argue about the boxes. When it looks like a sketch, they talk about the idea.

SimpleDiagrams is $49.99, one time. No subscription and no per-seat monthly fee. If Visio or OmniGraffle is more tool and more money than you need, this is the lighter option.
How it's built
Version 5 is a ground-up native rewrite in Swift, replacing the original Adobe AIR app. It's an AppKit document app with a SwiftUI interface, built by one developer. Available on the Mac App Store or as a direct download with a free trial.
