About
WP Bones is an open-source framework that gives WordPress plugins the shape of a modern PHP application: service providers, Blade views, Eloquent models, migrations, and React/TypeScript admin apps, all still running on any WordPress.
Every plugin ships with its own bones command line, with 28 commands that scaffold controllers, models and apps without overwriting your files, rename the plugin and its namespace, bump the version and package a clean release ready for WordPress.org.
14 working boilerplates you can try in WordPress Playground before cloning
Eloquent on MySQL and SQLite (Playground, Studio)
Modern build on @wordpress/scripts, with TypeScript and LESS out of the box
360 tests on PHP 8.1 to 8.4 on every pull request
Already in production on WordPress.org with Scotty and WP Bannerize Pro.
