About
9Secure: Your passwords. Your devices. Your control.
9Secure is an offline-first, post-quantum password manager for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Store passwords, passkeys, payment cards, identities, secure notes, files, and other sensitive information in encrypted vaults that you own and control.
Unlike traditional cloud-based password managers, 9Secure doesn't require an account, central server, or cloud storage. Your vaults stay on your devices, and you decide how they synchronize.
Vaultlight: One shortcut. Fill anything.
Vaultlight is a desktop command palette that makes accessing your credentials fast and convenient.
Search your unlocked vaults, arm an item, and use keyboard shortcuts to fill usernames, passwords, authenticator codes, payment details, or other stored fields without constantly switching between applications.
Vaultlight also supports custom actions, allowing you to execute saved commands directly from your vault, including SSH-related workflows.
Direct Device Sync: No cloud required.
Synchronize your encrypted vaults directly between trusted devices over your local network. No cloud servers, hosted accounts, or third-party storage providers are involved.
Devices pair through mutual confirmation, and synchronization sessions use post-quantum cryptography with end-to-end encryption.
Your passwords, passkeys, authenticator secrets, and other vault contents can synchronize across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android while remaining under your control.
Sentinel: Know which credentials are at risk.
Sentinel helps you identify weak, reused, outdated, and potentially compromised passwords, along with credentials associated with insecure websites.
Password health analysis runs locally on your device. Optional breach checks use Have I Been Pwned's privacy-preserving API to help identify exposed credentials.
Log: Your vault's history, preserved.
Log maintains an encrypted history of text-based changes within your vault.
Review previous entries, inspect changes, and copy older passwords or other stored values when needed. Your history remains part of your encrypted vault, helping you retrieve information that was accidentally changed or overwritten.
Passkeys and Built-in Authenticator
Create, store, use, and synchronize passkeys across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android through native platform integrations.
9Secure also includes a built-in TOTP authenticator for generating rotating two-factor authentication codes. Add accounts manually or scan setup QR codes using your device's camera.
Passwords, passkeys, and authenticator codes can live together in one encrypted vault.
Security and Privacy by Design
9Secure is built around a shared Rust-based core, using Argon2id for key derivation and XChaCha20-Poly1305 for authenticated encryption.
Its source-available cryptography library implements post-quantum algorithms, including ML-KEM for secure key establishment and ML-DSA for authentication during device pairing and synchronization.
The application and vault-management engine remain proprietary, while the cryptography library is publicly available for inspection.
9Secure works offline, requires no mandatory account, and does not depend on company-hosted servers to access your data.
Free on Desktop. One-Time Purchase on Mobile.
9Secure is completely free on Windows and macOS, with all features included and no paywalls.
The iOS and Android applications are available as one-time purchases.
No subscriptions. No mandatory accounts. No cloud dependency.
Your passwords belong to you. So should your password manager.
