About
Every smart home accessory ships with a setup code: eight or eleven digits on a tiny sticker, on the device or its box. You need it to pair, and again when you reset the accessory, move house or switch hubs. By then the sticker is behind a light fitting, up a wall, or in packaging you binned years ago.
PairVault keeps every one of them in one place.
SCAN ONCE, KEEP FOREVER
Point the camera at the accessory, its box or its manual, and PairVault reads the QR code or printed number. Pick a photo from your library and it finds the codes in it, or just type the digits. Codes are shown just as printed on the label. If something has no code of its own, like an eero or a bulb behind a bridge, mark it once and it stops nagging you.
PAIR AGAIN IN SECONDS
PairVault rebuilds a scannable QR code from what it saved, so you can pair straight from your phone. Codes can also be copied as text for any setup flow.
ADD FROM APPLE HOME IN A TAP
Browse your Apple Home inside PairVault. Name, room, home, manufacturer and model come across automatically. Apple Home never shares setup codes, so you scan or enter each one yourself, once.
KEEP THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Add manufacturer, model, serial number, retailer and purchase date, or create custom fields, like which fuse board something’s wired to or who installed it.
RECEIPTS WHERE YOU NEED THEM
Attach a photo, scan or PDF as proof of purchase. When something fails under warranty, the receipt is one tap away.
BATTERY AT A GLANCE
For accessories that report it, see the current level, a chart of drain over time, and a warning when it’s low. Note which battery each one takes so you know what to buy before you climb the ladder.
FIND ANYTHING FAST
Search by name, room, home, brand or type. Group by room or home. Everything still missing a code is gathered in one place.
BACK IT UP
Export your vault as a PDF, a spreadsheet for Numbers or Excel, Markdown, or JSON with every field. Handy before a move or hub swap.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Codes and receipts sync through your own private iCloud. No PairVault server, no account. The app sends anonymous usage statistics, like which features get used, but nothing from your vault leaves your devices: no codes, receipts, accessory or home names, or Apple Home data. With Advanced Data Protection on, your codes are end-to-end encrypted too.
LOCK IT DOWN
Require Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and choose how long PairVault can sit in the background before it asks again.
PRICING
Your first five accessories are free. One purchase, never a subscription, unlocks unlimited accessories for good.
Works with HomeKit and Matter accessories.
