Burncaps puts animated, word-by-word captions on a talking video, right in your browser. Drop an MP4 or MOV of up to ten minutes and choose what you get back: the whole video with captions burned in and nothing cut, or the best 30 or 60 seconds as a 1080x1920 clip with the ums and dead air taken out. The transcript opens as a script under the video, so you can click any word to correct it. 37 languages and 20 caption styles, plus subtitle files (SRT, VTT, text).

The video never leaves your device. The sound goes to our speech service only if you choose it, and you can keep everything on your device.
