Brush Buddies is a free Chrome extension for people who lose track of time at a computer.
When you're focused, a phone reminder is easy to swipe away without really seeing it. Brush Buddies puts the reminder where you're already looking. At the times you choose, a small, friendly buddy appears on your current browser tab with a soft chime.
- Pick your times: morning, after lunch, night or your own.
- A gentle on-tab reminder with an optional chime.
- Mark it done, or snooze for anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours.
- No account, no streaks and no guilt.
- Your settings stay in Chrome on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
It was made by James, a solo developer in the UK, with ADHD and neurodivergent desk workers in mind: people who find routines easier with a cue they can see. It also suits anyone who wants a simple nudge to keep up their brushing routine. Brush Buddies is a reminder tool, not a medical or dental product.
