theIDOL.ai is a web app for learning Korean through K-pop songs. Open a song and each line appears twice: word for word and by meaning, with pronunciation written the way it is sung, in your own script (Latin letters, katakana, Thai script or Chinese characters), highlighted in sync with the vocals. Then practise with fill-in-the-missing-word tasks; new words go into a spaced-repetition notebook. An AI idol explains the lines and chats with you. The idols are original AI characters, not real artists. Interface in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Thai and Traditional Chinese. Free with daily limits. Works in the browser and installs as a web app (PWA).
