About
Voice Remover is an online vocal remover that splits a song into two tracks. The instrumental is the song with the singing taken out: the band, the beat and everything else stay where they were. The vocals file is the singing on its own, handy for checking lyrics, timing and phrasing. Both play on the page, so you can listen before you download anything.
How it works
Upload an MP3, WAV or M4A song, or an MP4 or MOV video. For a video, your browser takes the sound out first and only the audio is uploaded, so the video itself stays on your phone or computer. A progress bar shows each step: uploading, waiting in line, separating. Most songs are done in about half a minute. Downloads are MP3 and named after your file, so they are easy to find later.
Older vocal removers cancelled out whatever sat in the middle of a stereo mix, which often took other centre-panned parts with the voice and left a hollow sound. Voice Remover uses AI separation instead: it has learned what a voice sounds like and separates it from everything else, so the instrumental keeps more of its full sound and even mono recordings can be separated.
The same separation has three entry points. The voice remover plays the instrumental first. The vocal isolator plays the acapella first, for remixes, mashups and learning a vocal part. The background music remover is built for video and speech: it keeps the voices and removes the music, for vlogs, podcasts, interviews and lectures.
Free use covers 3 full-length songs a day, up to 10 minutes each, with no watermark and no sign-up. Pro and a one-time pack add lossless WAV downloads and files up to 20 minutes. Uploaded files are deleted as soon as processing finishes, and the results are deleted after 24 hours.
