About
Most Minecraft builders only need one number before they start: how many blocks the round part will cost. MC Shapes answers that in the browser. Type a diameter and the page draws the circle, oval, sphere or dome square by square, with totals for the whole build and the stacks of 64 and 16 you need to gather.
It is deliberately small and does one job. The circle view handles 3 to 128 blocks across, hollow or solid, with thin, thick or max borders and a highlighted center (one block for odd sizes, a 2x2 core for even ones). The oval mode takes separate width and height for stadium and moat layouts. Sphere mode builds a 3D ball and lets you step through it one horizontal slice at a time. Dome mode produces half-sphere roofs, one ring after another, for observatories and greenhouses. A reference chart lists common sizes from 5 to 41.
Save the finished plan as an image (PNG) or a vector sheet (SVG) and keep it on a second monitor while you build. Java, Bedrock and console worlds use the same block grid, so the numbers carry over. The interface is also available in Spanish, German and French.
