About
TallyCart is an Android grocery app that tells you what your groceries will cost before you reach checkout.
Point your camera at a shelf price tag and TallyCart reads the price and adds it to your cart. The running total updates with every item and includes sales tax, so the number you see in the aisle is the number you pay at the register. Set a budget for the trip and TallyCart warns you before you go over, while you can still put something back.
- Shelf price scanner: camera reads the price tag, no typing
- Live running total with sales tax
- Trip budget with an alert before you go over
- Smart grocery lists you can share with family
- Receipt scanner and receipt history
- Spending dashboard: monthly budgets and trends
- Nearby deals: prices other shoppers have shared
- Works offline; no account needed for the core app
It is built for real stores: shelf scanning and running totals work on your phone with no signal, and no account is required. Made by Boyo Apps, an independent developer in Haiti.
