About
BidProof reviews a solar proposal for the homeowner who will sign it. The homeowner uploads the proposal as a PDF, photo or screenshot. The service checks the price, the energy production estimate, the savings math, the equipment, the financing terms, the warranties and the claimed incentives against independent data rather than the installer's own model.
The report uses a plain-language result of Pass, Revise or Flag. It lists what was verified, what needs another look, what could not be checked and why, and the questions to take back to the seller before signing. A digital report is available to download, keep, share or print.
The review costs $49 for a proposal, or $99 for a proposal and contract together. The company says it does not receive installer referral fees and does not sell documents or contact details to installers.
