Ping Clock

Ping Clock is heartbeat monitoring for cron jobs, backups, scheduled tasks and background workers. Uptime monitors only see things that answer requests, so a nightly backup that stopped weeks ago never turns anything red. Ping Clock works the other way round: each job pings a unique URL when it runs, and silence triggers the alert. Set a period and grace time, or a cron expression in any time zone. Start, success and fail pings show whether a job never ran, failed or hung, and you can send the exit code straight from the shell. Alerts go to email and Slack on every plan, with Microsoft Teams, Discord and webhooks from Starter. Pro adds run durations, log capture and an API. The Free plan covers 20 checks with no card.
