About
Todowing is an unofficial Chrome extension for Todoist. Todoist hides sub-tasks in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters, and Labels. Todowing shows them inline under their parent, up to four levels deep, with each sub-task's own due date, priority, and labels. You can complete or reopen a sub-task without opening it.
The free plan includes all the nesting, seven color palettes, and a text size slider from 85% to 200%. It caps you at 5 sub-task rows per top-level task and needs no account.
A one-time lifetime unlock removes the cap and adds editing sub-tasks from the list, focus sessions, time estimates, a notes pad, a font picker, and read-only Apple Calendar events on Today. There is no subscription.
Todowing works with any Todoist plan in the Todoist web app on Chrome. Your Todoist token stays in your browser and goes only to Todoist's API. Tasks never pass through Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics.
