About
Reteum is a private notes and journal app for iPhone. Save typed text, voice, photos, videos, links and PDFs in one place. Capture from widgets, Control Center or Siri, and voice notes are transcribed on the device.
Each time you open the app, up to three older notes come back at the top. Swipe right to keep, left to clear, so notes never pile up. Search works by meaning: "Seattle last month" finds what you saved there, "beach" finds beach photos, and you can search in one language for a note written in another. Words inside PDFs count too. The Atlas sorts everything into subjects on its own.
Both AI models run on the iPhone, even in airplane mode. No account, no Reteum server, no analytics, no ads. Optional iCloud sync is end-to-end encrypted, and you can export everything as a zip with a Markdown copy.
English interface, notes in many languages. iPhone, iOS 26 or later. Free download; Reteum Pro is $24.99/year with a 7-day free trial.
