About
BugTape groups user-reported and silent failures into one issue with replay, request, console and stack. Claude Code, Cursor and Codex fix them over MCP.
BugTape catches the bugs users hit, whether they report them or not. Every report of the same failure, from the optional bug button, an uncaught error, or a failed or hanging request, lands on one issue with a browser replay (DOM events, not video), the network request, the console and the stack. Node.js and Python SDKs add server errors with route, service and release.
Your coding agent connects over MCP (npx -y bugtape connect claude, then click Allow once). It pulls a ranked inbox, reads a compact repro pack, marks the bug as being worked on with a PR URL, and can listen for new urgent issues. A person reviews what ships. When a fixed issue comes back in a newer release, BugTape reopens it as a regression.
Free plan with no credit card. Prepaid credits are $10 for 2,000, and Pro is $29 USD a month. BugTape doesn't do tracing, logs, metrics or native crash capture, and runs fine alongside Sentry or Datadog.
