About
psoup noise machine plays noise made in your browser: brown, pink, white, velvet, tape and radio. Nothing is a recording; the sound is computed on your device while it plays.
The noise rises and falls slowly, and the world today tunes it. The moon's illumination sets how deep each dip goes. Each earthquake of magnitude 5 or more that day becomes one soft low swell in your first hour of listening. NOAA's planetary Kp index, the measure of geomagnetic storms, sets the grain of the moving picture.
Two modes: trip, where sound and picture surface from the noise and sink back, and focus, slow, dark and steady. Timers of 25, 50 or 90 minutes, and a sleep mode that fades out. Sliders shape the low, mid and high bands.
Free in the browser, one tap, no account. A membership, $4.20 a month (7 days free, or $29.40 a year), lets you mix several noises, keep your mixes and play any past day's sound; it is a pre-order for now.
