About
HoodBook is online booking and follow-up software built for commercial kitchen hood cleaning and fire suppression contractors.
Hood work happens at 2 AM, but most shops still book by phone and track semi-annual schedules on paper or in a spreadsheet. Kitchen managers call while you are on a roof, can't reach you, and call the next contractor on Google. NFPA 96 and suppression inspections come due every few months, and when nobody follows up, recurring accounts quietly drift to competitors.
HoodBook fixes that in three steps. Add your services, service area, hours and after-close time slots like 10 PM, 11:30 PM and 1 AM. Paste one line of code on your site to get a floating Book Online button, plus a shareable booking link for Google, Facebook and invoices. Then HoodBook handles the follow-up.
Features:
- A booking page built for kitchens: customers choose the service, number of hoods, suppression system brand and an after-close slot.
- A contractor dashboard showing new, confirmed and completed jobs, with one-click confirm and complete.
- Automatic booking confirmation emails.
- Service-due reminders: HoodBook tracks each restaurant's last service and emails them 14 days before they are due, with a link to rebook. Intervals are set per customer.
- Google review requests sent after each completed job.
- A message log so you see exactly what went out.
- Self-serve billing through Stripe: upgrade, change plans or cancel anytime.
If one extra job a month is worth more than the plan price, HoodBook pays for itself.
Pricing: paid, from $149/mo (Starter $149, Pro $199, Multi-crew $299). 30-day free trial.
