CodeFormer.io

Old photographs deserve a second look. CodeFormer.io is a browser-based restoration tool for scans and phone photos of faded prints. It can sharpen soft faces, reduce small scratches and creases, refresh colors, and add plausible color to black-and-white images. You can compare the restored photo with the original before downloading. The first standard-size image each day is free, with no sign-up or watermark. JPG, PNG and WEBP files up to 30 MB are supported. Higher-resolution 2K and 4K exports are paid. AI color is an estimate, so review the result when historical accuracy or a person’s likeness matters. The site is independent and unaffiliated with the CodeFormer research authors.
