About
Super Lyrics is a desktop Chrome extension for following available lyrics beside music videos on standard YouTube watch pages. Lyrics can appear in the page or in Chrome's side panel. Timestamped lyrics can highlight with playback; plain lyrics do not gain synced highlighting.
Where available, it shows Japanese romaji, Chinese pinyin and romanized Korean readings alongside the original text. Optional machine translation supports more than 180 target languages. Matches, timing, readings and translations vary by recording and can be inaccurate. YouTube Music and mobile browsers are not supported.
Google sign-in connects the free allowance and plan to the account. The one-time free allowance covers 10 different videos with successfully loaded lyrics over the lifetime of the account, with no daily or monthly reset. Replaying an unlocked video uses no additional slot. Another upload of the same song counts separately; missing lyrics and non-music videos do not count. Plain lyrics count, and a successful lookup counts before the lyrics appear.
Weekly, monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions offer unlimited access while active, subject to lyric availability. Manual artist/title search can help correct a match. Offset and lyric Speed controls adjust timestamped lyric timing, not YouTube playback speed. Super Lyrics is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
