LankaRank is a free website and Google Business Profile check built for Sri Lankan small businesses.
Why it exists: in our October 2026 study, only 751 of 16,353 businesses in Sri Lanka's national business directory listed a website, and 810 of the 2,061 listed websites we scanned didn't work. Global SEO tools assume you already have a working site and know the jargon. Most owners here don't, and they want someone to tell them plainly what their business needs.
How it works: type your website address and get a plain-English report. The check runs 30 checks in four areas that matter to customers: whether they can get in touch, how you show up on Google, technical health such as speed on phones, and trust. 7 of those checks exist because of how Sri Lankans search and get in touch, and global tools don't run them. No website yet? Type your business name and town instead, and we check your Google Maps profile.
Who it's for: shop, salon, cafe, clinic and service owners in Sri Lanka who may never have had a website and don't know the terminology.
What you get: a free report with your biggest problems explained in plain words, and one free fix. Paid plans are optional: step-by-step guides to fix things yourself, or we make every fix for you. We also build websites and set up Google Maps profiles for businesses that aren't online yet.
